How to aquire Astral Diamonds.
At first, the game gives the player two character slots. The game lets you buy more slots from the Zen Market, but no matter how many characters you have the principal is the same. With your main character, every day you log try to run two Dungeons, two Skirmishes and two PvP matches (it doesn't matter what type of pvp matches) in order to get the bonus Astral Diamonds the first two runs provide. Then, run some Demonic Heroic Encounters, which you are most likelly anyway going to run in order to do quests in the areas that provide you with the materials you need to progress your campaigns. The Demonic Heroic Encounters have a good chance to give you salvagable rings. If you want, also do some runs in the first two Epic Dungeons of the game (which are actually skirmishes btw), Kessell's Retreat and Shores of Tuern. Their first chests don't need a key, so you'll get a ring for sure. When you assemble the 36000 Astral Diamonds your main character can refine for the day, give all the rest of the salvagable items you assembled to your alts. They are bound to account, not to character. After you send the items, salvage them with your alts. If that's not enough, fast run some of the nonepic dungeons with your alts two times, to get the bonus Astral Diamonds with them as well. Also, after you get everything you needs with the Seals of the Elements and the Seals of the Protector, you can get the items from the merchant just to salvage them.

How to remove death penalty
When you die and someone raises you in neverwinter, you get a death penalty. If you die while the penalty is active, you can't be raised again and you have to release and be sent back to the last camp you discovered. In dungeons, there is a way to remove it. Most of the times, when you are near a boss entrance, there are big torches. If you step in one of them the penalty is removed. It is also removed if you summon an altar and stand in it.
How to get zen
Aside from using the zen exchange there is also another way you can make zen. If you are using the arc browser, you might or might not have noticed that in its bottom right corner there are 3 little icons. We're interested about the one shaped like a parchment. If you put your cursor on it, it says Arc Quests. If you click on it, you are presented with some daily quests. Long story short, by doing them, you get some points which you can exchange for zen. It's not fast, it's not a lot, but it's something. For more information, check here.
